I'm a student, meaning I'm practically broke, but I still want to get into Lidar scanning, so I was hopind I'd get some help choosing the right equipment for someone on a tight budget.
Look into the iPhone or iPad with LiDAR, the Pro models only, it wont be perfect definitely, but it's shockingly capable for entry level scanning and gives you a good foundation with apps like Polycam or Luma, that's all I can work up right now
Hi! @Theobserver, just wanna say I second the iPad Pro route. It gets you okay scans without burning through your wallet, and the apps make it super beginner-friendly.
